HOW THE TICKETS WORK
FRIDAY 15TH
Sharpen your crime-writing skills with a full day of immersive workshops led by industry experts. Whether you’re polishing a manuscript or plotting your first mystery, you’ll get practical skills and insider feedback to take your story to the next level and help you navigate the path to publication. From an exclusive small-group workshop with powerhouse Fiona McIntosh to an industry insight Q&A with two publishing professionals, it’s a golden opportunity to learn from the best in the biz.
There are two ticket options available for the day—and you can book either one, or both:
Ticket Option 1: Coffee & Crime + Fiona McIntosh Workshop
Start your day with an intimate Coffee & Crime meet-and-greet at Kinship Café (8.00–9.30am, food and drink not included), followed by a 2-hour writing workshop with bestselling author Fiona McIntosh. A rare opportunity to learn directly from one of Australia’s most prolific crime writers.
Ticket Option 2: Writing Workshops
Access to 3 expert-led sessions featuring literary agents, publishers, and an award-winning investigative journalist.
Writers can attend one session or both—just be sure to book both tickets if you want the full Friday experience.
The day wraps up at 5.30pm, and both ticket options are designed to give you real, practical value—whether you’re published, just starting out or somewhere in-between.
